2022 AWARD CEREMONY
WHAT IS IT?
The 12-Week Challenge is an opportunity at the beginning of each calendar year for members of the Mesa Fitness community to start or propel their fitness journey to new heights. We start the challenge with measurements and weight ins, and 12 weeks later, follow it up with the same measurements to see the change!
After everyone has weighed in, both Mesa Fitness locations come together to select winners of each age group to win a cash prize! But what's even better than the cash prize, is the life-long change that each participant receives from taking their fitness goals head on.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Join the 2022 12-Week Challenge starting January 10, 2022 at the front desk of your home Mesa Fitness location! Simply fill out a registration form, pay your registration, and then set a reminder for the flight you want to attend! If you're joining on a flight date, you can take your measurements and photos right after you register!
WHAT'S NEW IN 2022
With this year's challenge, we wanted to do more, to be bigger, to connect more with those who chose to take the challenge and make a change in their life. So this year, we are doing just that with the following:

SEMINARS & PANELS
In 2022, we are bringing something new to the education side of the 12-Week Challenge. Expert and Trainer panels! Each Seminar will be a panel of our Trainers or Group Fitness team covering various topics throughout the challenge!
Learn more from a panel of the trainers from Mesa Fitness Grand Junction about getting started! We will be talking topics like goal setting, programming, the basics of nutrition, recovery & sleep, and common mistakes in the gym!
This one comes out of Mesa Fitness Clifton! With a panel of our team of Personal Trainers from Clifton, we will be discussing the basics of recovery, how sleep plays into your health and fitness, and how recovery is one of the most important parts of your journey's success!
As the challenge or your fitness progresses, you may start to experience fitness burnout. From the Mesa Fitness Group Fitness team comes a talk around the effect of burnout, where it comes from, and how to combat that burnout during the challenge and beyond as you continue your fitness journey.
SEMINAR 4: THE FINAL STRETCH
The whole team comes together for this end-of-the-challenge chat. We'll cover how to prepare for the final weeks of the challenge, including what you should be doing nutritionally, with your recovery, and in the gym to prepare your body. We'll also talk about the final few days as you gear up for your final measurements and photos to give you the best results possible!

Each age category winner for both gender classes will win a cash prize of $1000. Second place for each age category will receive a 6-month free membership.
The Overall Male and Overall Female winners will also win a 1-Year Mesa Fitness membership.
